Bobux based in New Zealand want children to be free to grow and to develop healthy feet for life.
It is a fact that during the first five years of a child's life, their feet undergo an enormous amount of change. Children's feet need room to grow, flex, strengthen and develop naturally. Nothing is more important than shoes that allow unrestricted, anatomical development.
For the past two decades Bobux have recognised that barefoot is best for natural foot development and they draw on this philosophy every day to create footwear that mimics the freedom of barefeet. To ensure that their shoes meet the unique needs of each developmental milestone Bobux partnered with internationally recognised footwear specialists, last makers and podiatrists for innovative use of design techniques and materials.
The Bobux 'STEP UP' range, which is designed specifically for toddlers that are newly walking. The extremely flexible and light-weight sole provides durability and protection for first walkers as they master the art of walking indoors and outdoors. Soft leather uppers and minimal use of stiffeners allow full range of movement and unrestricted development. These are very high quality shoes made with premium leather inside and out and fasteners designed for easy fit and adjustability.
Additionally we also offer the IWalk Range and the new Kid+ range. As soon as kids can walk confidently they want to run and jump. This kind of activity requires a different approach in shoe design and Bobux I-Walks are specifically designed for this stage. Taking off and stopping running, changing direction quickly, gripping the ground after a jump; at I Walk stage there is a diverse range of motion that feet must now accommodate. Developmentally, their feet are becoming much stronger, more defined and leaner. Their toes are spreading and the fatty layer beneath the foot is disappearing.
The new Kid + range extends Bobux sizing out to size 33 in select styles. Like our I-walk shoes, Kid+ are designed for active children that want function and style in their shoes. Like all Bobux shoes, foot health is of primary consideration in designing the Kid+ line.
